Good bye, guilty conscience!
Emotion coaching for success and satisfaction in science and research Book a free appointment nowMy Mission
I want you to find your way back to joy, clarity, and inner strength – because that’s what truly drives your success in academia.
Do you recognise this?
- You feel great pressure to perform and compete.
- You experience frequent rejections and setbacks.
- You no longer find the professional uncertainty and frequent changes between jobs and locations exciting and motivating, but exhausting and gruelling.
- The pressure of constantly having to apply for jobs, relocate and integrate into new teams is draining your energy.
- You are annoyed by the fact that research funding, impact factor, resources and influence are far too often more important than scientific findings.
You realise …
- that you have clearly lost interest in your work?
- that you are constantly comparing yourself to your colleagues and you feel like you are performing worse and worse (at least in yor head)?
- that you are becoming insecure, wondering whether you are even good enough to be successful as a scientist in the long term?
- that these thoughts are weighing you down more and more and you can hardly realise your true potential?
You would much rather …
- stay relaxed and enjoy your work?
- be satisfied with yourself and your performance?
- not be so quick to go on the defensive (or even offensive) when someone criticises your work?
- appear confident and convincing because you know that you do enough, can do enough, are enough?
I’ll show you how to do it!

Your key to scientific excellence:
Mental strength through emotional intelligence!
Emotional intelligence and, in particular, dealing with your own emotions is crucial for your scientific success. For example, it enables you to work more effectively in teams, deal constructively with setbacks and generally cope better with the pressure in science and research. A high level of emotional intelligence also promotes your ability to self-regulate and your resilience. This not only contributes to your well-being, but also to your long-term success in science.
I support you in getting to know yourself and your emotional reactions better and finding out how you can best work with them.

Understand how your feelings influence your work

Develop a positive mindset and good (thinking) habits

Recognise your needs, fulfil them and find your own path full of energy and motivation

Feel good and be more creative, productive and successful in what you do!
About me
In over 18 years of professional experience in the German science system at various universities, I have noticed one thing time and again:
Scientists start their careers inspired, motivated and enthusiastic. But in the course of their career, many lose this enthusiasm, it turns into stress and pressure and, in the worst case, can lead to illness and burnout.
I find this frightening and unnecessary! Do you too?
Testimonials from my coaching sessions
What I offer you
In my coaching sessions, I combine approaches from mental and emotional coaching. These provide the appropriate methods with which we can directly address and work on the inner attitudes, feelings and automated (emotional) reactions that stand in your way.
Individualised Coaching
In the coaching process, we focus on your individual needs and goals so that you can develop your very own abilities and potential. This is why it is often seen as the supreme discipline for supporting development and learning processes…
The exchange of ideas in a group is often a decisive factor for sustainable results. Group coaching sessions provide a valuable framework for exchanging experiences and learning from each other…
